In Memory of Patsy M. Genz 1948-2020This is a special replay of Episode 51 in honor of the life of Patsy Genz. Anyone who ice fishes has heard of Dave Genz. Dave is called the godfather of ice fishing and has revolutionized the sport. Many people don’t realize that behind the scenes was his wife Patsy and daughters, Missy and Kathy. From actually sewing the shacks, to wrapping hooks with lead and packaging maggots to be shipped around the country those three women were and are an important part of this legacy. Missy and Kathy said they didn’t grow up fishing, they grew up catching!
